Masks Made

Masks to Go!

We’re a grassroots collective seeking to provide short-term relief by mobilizing sewists, makers, and organizers to hand-sew and deliver masks to those affected by mask shortages.

We take privacy very seriously, personally identifiable information for facilities and makers will never be posted publicly. When you finish making your masks, fill out our inventory form and you will be paired with an open order closest to you based on their mask requirements.

In settings where facemasks are not available, HCP might use homemade masks (e.g. bandana, scarf) for care of patients with COVID-19 as a last resort. However, homemade masks are not considered PPE, since their capability to protect HCP is unknown. Homemade masks should ideally be used in combination with a face shield that covers the entire front (that extends to chin or below) and sides of the face.
